Bug, Bug, Spider Book Review
February 18, 2019

I’ll bet you don’t know all the creepy crawlies in this book. From Colorado-potato “disaster” makers, to helpful garden peacekeepers, Audrey Sauble sets the stage for learning and fun. A tangible and accurate resource, this tool alone equips us to school on the go–be it in a waiting room or car.

Your child can color the whimsical pictures and learn from the three lines of interesting facts at the bottom of each page. Creative activity sheets to make bug projects are dispersed throughout the book. A timeless teaching prompt on a subject my kids relish. You may need to buy two, one for you and one for your 5-8 year old.

Note: the writing is a stretch for some 5 year olds but gives a vocabulary most 8 year olds would appreciate reaching to comprehend. A coloring book/teaching tool worth owning.
